Ellen began decorative painting in 2002.  Having completed several projects in her own home and several friends' homes, she pursued decorative painting classes in 2007.  She has trained with professional decorative artists from across the country.  She continues taking classes and workshops to keep up with the market trend.  Each class brings new techniques and products unique to the artist's personal preference. 

An important decision when selecting a decorative finish is the color.  By selecting a color or combination of colors and a technique, an interior space or object can be transformed into the look you want.   With the understanding of using color, Ellen works with her clients to create the desired look for a project.

Exquisite Touches Studio

Exquisite Touches is owned by Ellen Teichman.  Ellen has had a love for color and art since childhood, reflective in her house and gardens.  It was an easy decision to combine her interests and expand into the world of decorative painting over seven years ago.  In 2007, she began training with instructors from around the country.  She continues with classes in decorative painting and the fine arts. 

Exquisite Touches' studio is located  on a farm in the Delaware Valley, Chester County Pennsylvania's horse country.

Ideas for decorative finishes might come from fabric, artwork or a desired theme.  Whether its walls, ceilings, floors, cabinets, countertops, furniture or accessories, Ellen will work with you to create the desired look.

Inspiration for the powder room at Jillian Grace Salon in West Grove, PA, came from the fabric surrounding the sink.
